FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) is a program that inspires teens from all around the world to assemble robots using the fields of STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
It provides a basic set of materials (a TEXTRIX kit), some guidelines, and finally, a game challenge (see the video above for this year's challenge)! Then the teams take off, and using their own ideas and their own skills, they build a robot out of the provided parts, and anything and everything under the sun! That robot during competition performs a series of goals which vary every year, depending on the game released.
