Today the team did a demonstration for our local Homeschool P.E. We had over fifty kids and their parents attended. They all seemed pretty interested and asked a lot of questions.

Today we went to the St. Mary's Food Pantry here in Cape Girardeau. We helped unload the food truck and the many, many, many, Cheetos. :P We also unloaded quite a bit of produce. Some of it had to be thrown away as usually there are some rotten fruits and vegetables. The majority though, we bagged into grocery store bags and placed them into empty boxes to be given out tomorrow morning. We are so grateful to the St. Mary's Food Pantry for giving us such a great opportunity to serve our community.
Dalton and Isaac cut a slot into the sweep bucket to allow the servo arm to move inside it. So now we can push minerals up towards the top of the bucket enough for the sweep to throw them out and into the lander.
With the removal of the tape measure and the addition of the second set of linear slides, the robot has a little bit of a new look.
The linear slides are our replacement for the relic mechanism, we are working on a claw to go on the end right now. |
